VISITING HOURS
Every day: 9:00 am - 20:00 pm (entry actually allowed 19:00 p.m.)
Closed: Tusday, a° January, 25 December

TRASPORTATION
It is advised to use taxi or underground (station: Piazza Cavour).
The Museum can be reached by Sorrento, Pompeii or Herculaneum by using the Circumvesuviana train and underground.
It is not advised to come by car since there is no direct parking available.

ENTRANCE FEE
€ 6,50
Admittance free: under 18 years and over 65 from the EU and reciprocally conventioned countries; students of some university faculties.

Reduced: € 3,25 from 18 to 25 age and school teachers.
Cumulative ticket: € 8,50 (valid for 3 days) including the visit to the Museums, monuments and archaeological areas of the Campi Flegrei.

ArteCard: € 13,00; reduced € 8.00 (valid for 60 hours) including the visit at other Museums of Naples and public trasportation. (http://www.artecard.it)

HANDICAPPED VISITORS
The Museum is accessible to handicapped visitors, although only a limited number of wheelchairs are available at the ticket office.

PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEO
Photographs taken without flash are permitted. All others require written request and are subject to review.

MUSEUM SHOP
ublications, postcards, posters, videotapes and a number of select objects are sold in the Musem shop, located at entrance. Museum tours are available for rent in various languages (http://www.pierreci.it).

EDUCATION DEPARTMENT
Located on the ground floor. It houses a small library and specializes in didactic material related to the collections and the archeological sites under the care of the Soprintendenza per i Beni ARcheologici di Napoli e Caserta.
It offers to visitors and schools a consulting service as well as film projections (by appointment). It organises educational conferences for schools and adults, offers a laboratory for elementary and middle schools, educational exhibitions and cultural events. LIBRARY
Specialized in archeological collections, it contains material dating from the 1500's and many periodicals and publications related to the Museum.
Library hours: Monday, Wednesday, Fridaył: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm; Tuesday and Thursday: 9.00 - 17.00. Closed for two week in August.
